..so says Martin.
The company is Truphone, a UK-based venture-backed company. They’ve done what has been anticipated for a long time, and made it (relatively) easy to turn your cell phone into a wifi phone. But with a few big twists.
I think Martin is right. Using Wi-fi for VoIP is clearly the way forward, but the intergration is the stumbling block, how do you get skype for instance to play nicely with your mobile phone and how can you simple choose which mechanism to carry your call, gsm or VoIP. Truphone and the image aboe looks like a wonderful intergration of the two mechanisms and simpliefied so your average joe can use it. I’m sure Martin is right and we’ll be hearing more from these fellas.
